This is a great inflator (my favorite tool) but this is only a so so price. If you can wait they will probably have it in a bundle again.

Great tool, not at all a slickdeal though. Just the staff doing another paid promotion. These are worth getting when they go to 39

Are you all carrying batteries in the car with this tool? I always liked the cheap slime brand one which plugs into a cigarette lighter hole in the car which came in handy couple of times. These never made sense to me.

These come with a cigarette lighter adapter. No need to carry with a battery when using for the car.

I'm not always around a car.

I already have a battery in the car since I also keep a Ridgid impact as part of my kit. These work much better on 18v vs 12 volts from the car.

Love this tool, and use it more often than I expected. But I got mine for $35 shipped from Direct Tools Outlet less than a year ago.

Price aside... Does anyone use a different brand of battery via adapter on this; Makita, Milwaukee, etc.? How well does it work?

I have MW 12ah and 8ah batteries that would seem to be a good fit as long as I didn't risk running them empty in case undervolt protections fail.
