This is an inflatable. Hate to be stuck in the sea with this. Price does not justify material and quality. Does someone own 1 and share experience of it?
The sea eagles look sturdier, any thoughts on differences here?

I own a Chelan 155 and love it. Plenty of room to tandem kayak and easy to solo. Excellent tracking, nice and straight. Drop stitch flooring is amazing. You can standup on the kayak and it improves performance. The kayak is wonderful, the downside is Aquaglide as a brand is now going away. They were bought out by another company which already has a kayak line of their own. This is why these are going on sale, to clear out the inventory.
I also owned an entry level Sea Eagle. Not fair to compare the two because they are different class boats. Sea Eagle is a pioneer in inflatables. Highly recommend them as a brand but it seems their quality has dropped in the last three years. I've seen many reports of problems with brand new kayak purchases due to a lack of quality control.
I would not take any for these boats on the ocean. They are meant for lakes, and for the most part class 1 and 2 rapids. There are other inflatables that can go up to class IV rapids.
