G4 is slightly brighter than the G3, but nothing really that significant. The biggest change is a fix where the G3 had some complaints about flickering or changes in brightness in HDR content. If the price were the same, the G4 is the better TV but overall the changes are minor enough that if you could still score a 77" G3 for less it'd probably be worth it.

I have to disagree with that one. I have 4 TVs in my house, and all 4 are wall mounted (just moved the 4th one from a stand to the wall this week). Having to put a stand under them takes up so much more space and limits placement options

This thing is 'heavy'. You'll need at least 2 people to mount.

lots unfortunately. They were 8 hours late (and kept telling me 15 minutes). It took 4 hours to install and they installed it incorrectly 3 times. In the end, i have multiple holes in the wall and it still isnt the perfect height or even perfectly level but they had stripped several screws and couldnt fix it. After about 2 hours they told me (there were 2 people) that they really didnt have much experience with mantel mount. If you look on the site, it tells you that it can be the first time install for their experts. Id pay a local professional who does home theatre if i had to do it again.

people who chose free wall installation are not making smart decision. You will not get a professional install. You are better off doing it yourself

Does anyone know if Capital One's LG cash back offer works on LG's partner store website? There is a link to get the cash back on Capital One's website but it takes you to the normal LG store (not partner store).
