Not a bad price but the processor is kind of dated now.
This is the laptop I currently use for work, and I absolutely love it. I feel like Microsoft finally hit the sweet spot for a device mostly used as a laptop and occasionally used for presentations. I love that I can pull out the pen/stylus in the middle of a presentation and just start drawing without having to do any gymnastics with a detachable screen (i.e., Surface Book). The trackpad is large and responsive, and the keyboard touch and feel is excellent. The screen is crisp. I need to buy a laptop for personal use, and I'm seriously considering getting this exact same thing.
Surface book is not a older version. It's a totally different product line with detachable base.

Iirc, this is the model where the optioned dedicated graphics card is in a separate compartment from the motherboard and connects at the screen hinge. Presumably it was just an issue with the connector. 🤷🏻

It's simple you can remove the screen of surface book and use it as a tablet and you can't do the same with surface laptop studio which is a spin off of Surface Studio. They are two different product lines and named accordingly.
And you can spin an HP X2 which you can't do with Lenovo Yoga. Does that mean it's suddenly also not a convertible? See how easily your arbitrary made up terms start falling apart?
I never said they're the same product line. I said one is an obvious spiritual successor of another.
