Target does offer a 6 month "limited" warranty on these, so it seems like if there was a real issue you'd almost certainly figure it out in 6 months. However, I could find no details on the limits of warranty etc.
They also have refurbished 45mm 9 series GPS+Cellular for $312.
Price seems good, as long as it really works and the condition is good.

I think the real risk with Target refurbished is the lack of Applecare and in the inability to extend it. But I agree, six months should be sufficient granted they cover anything reasonable (so, obviously not accidental damage or something like that).
Price seems reasonable for current generation in 45mm so long as it's in excellent condition. But worth adding that I only paid $10 more for the like new which was brand new as far as I'm concerned, from Amazon. Might be worth waiting and watching.. especially since we don't know what Target's refurb process actually entails.
I think Target had the 45mm red edition down to something like $265 in February.. might be better off just waiting to see where prices go when the Series 10/X drops presumably in a couple of months.
