I think it's a certain perk. I've spent over 10k on my pro rewards and didn't get anything saying there was a Milwaukee buy more save more event.

Have these been reworked at all internally within the past couple of years? My original, and the factory warranty replacement, both suffer from very frustrating overheating issues. Easy yard grass, edging, trimming -- nothing amazing here. Debris cover still on, factory spec string, etc. Some people report never having an issue, but others share the same horror stories.

Word to the wise, if you do in-store pickup be sure to check the box and make sure the battery is there before you leave. Someone had bought and returned the box I got and had swiped the battery out of it.

So add these 3 items, place order, cancel one, and return the other to get trimmer for that price?

OOS for delivery now anyway. Disappointing. Wish he had posted steps for replication.
Guys, please research the "home depot Milwaukee too hack"

I have this along with the edger and pole saw (though I've never used that one) and I really like it. Even on 5ah batteries it works well. Which I mostly use since the 8ah crapped out after a year and only charges halfway.

Same problem here. Sent the item back for repair, came back still overheating after less than 10 mins of use, very frustrating Frown

I think this is left over from the $209 sale few weeks back. My box was in rough shape as well. I made sure it had the battery and parts were still in plastic. Mine ended up being new box was bashed a bit. Hopefully the store manager made your purchase right

I'm sad to say mine too suffers from the extremely frustrating overheating issue too. I bought mine in March of 2023. But it didn't start having the overheating issue until a couple months ago. Just last week I was so frustrated by it I ran out and bought another one, expecting I'll send my other one back to Milwaukee for service. It's discouraging to hear that some are coming back from warranty service with the same recurring issue. Not happy at all about this

Nice! I have a good gas one, but will prob bite next time its under 140
Better off with Ego. I wouldn't expect an 18v trimmer to do much no matter who makes it. I just bought one for 150 during prime day and it rips

Oof. Bought this for a lot more a couple of months ago. This is a screaming deal. Absolutely love mine, it makes yard work fun instead of a chore

They have a newer model coming out later this year, I believe it was in October. Faster, more efficient and thicker guage wires internally.
