I'm unable to purchase due to it being made for an older android version. are there any ways around this?

Note a number of those games have controller support(Not all though.):

Bluetooth support titles:

Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy 8 (VIII) Remastered
Final Fantasy 9 (IX)

I have the original versions of FF3, 4, 5, 6 on Android too and they do have controller support. Unfortunately the new pixel remasters of those do NOT.

Which game? If it's FFVII, it supports Android 14 as I've bought it yesterday. As far as I can tell, most of the SE games support the latest version.

FYI Chrono Trigger requires you to have an online connection to play.

I learned this the hard (super frustrating) way while on a long flight.

For the apple version can you play ff7 on apple TV. Looking at getting an apple tv.

never mind looks like it's just for iPad and iPhone.
