*** Pro Special Buy of the week ***

This is absolutely stupid, you get 24 total amp hour's of HIGH-OUTPUT batteries for less than $10 per Ah!!! Normally you'd need to wait for Black Friday, so get this now because it will sell out before end of week.

Anyone can sign-up for a Pro account and you can convert an existing non-Pro account to a Pro account.

Step 1) Go to product page
Step 2) Select your "free tool", the M18 XC 5.0 battery pack
Step 3) Add both to your cart to see the discount spread across both items
Step 4) Check Out
Step 5) Return the XC 5.0 battery pack AND keep the discount on the target item

Step 5a) Don't even think about keeping the XC 5.0 battery!!! You should never ever spend that much on a 5.0 battery. I return my hacked items in-store, the employees are great. If yours gives you pushback, then ask for the manager. The store MUST accept the item and leave your discount on the other "target" item.

The 12ah tends to get hot depending what kind of tools you're using. Roto hammer, threader, etc

It won't let me split pick up options. Or is that not necessary anymore?

Correct, at checkout you have to choose the same pick-up or delivery option for each item in a promotion.

So before I have sent the freebie to one store and the rest to another and then cancel the freebie but it looks like you have to cancel the whole order now? What happens if I don't pick up the freebie?

I have a rear handle 2830-20 but bought this cause that thing weighs 10lb per HD site and this is 6.3lb so much lighter.

What do you guys think of this deal? I prefer Ridgid batteries because of the LSA. No 12ah battery but 4 6.0ah batteries is pretty good with LSA and no hack needed albeit ~$7 more. Add ~$15 for an adaptor from Ridgid to Milwaukee.

I'm in for one. I'm thinking I can sell the 12.0 battery for $120 to $140. That would get me 2 6.0 ah batteries for $100 or less. Not bad. I've been looking for a couple of extra batteries.

The LSA is great, but I would guess that the M18 batteries can output more power than similarly sized Ridgid ones. And there'd be more potential losses through the adapter as well as loss of communication (if the tool/battery have that capability).

Do their HO batteries still have the balancing issue?

I don't know why you and I are getting downvoted. The hack was to choose pick up for one item and delivery for the other and then cancel the one you don't want. That doesn't appear to work anymore. Then the other hack was to deliver to two different stores but that doesn't seem to work very well either. I finally got mine to go through by choosing pick up for the free one and deliver to same store for the other, and then it charged me separate. So I should be able to ignore the freebie and pick up the triple battery back. Hope that works for you.
