Make sure to check out the pics of the laptop, fyi - it has what's a pro for some, and a con for others. If you hate a numpad (I don't like 'em), this laptop is a good way to get a bigger screen without the numpad that almost always comes on laptops over 14". BUT, if you want the numpad, take note that this laptop doesn't have one.

Ultra 5. 5 is a different processor entirely.

Aso just as a heads-up for anyone interested, unlike with AMD, the U variation of Core Ultra processors doesn't come with the updated (read: fast) integrated graphics.

bad design...for such a large laptop...HDMI and power should be at back (I did saw some dell few years back with these, don't know about current generation)...and no numpad is totally dumb.

Backside ports are exceedingly rare outside of gaming laptops. Many people don't like the number pad.

Not really a deal here. I just bought a 16" touchscreen HP with an AMD 8840U CPU, which crushes this one with a 1TB SSD and 16GB DDR5 for $599 at Costco.

Many 16-in laptops now come without numpad.

I have the rear ports on a ThinkBook T14p, but that is really rare outside of gaming laptops.

Similar deal like this but with a smaller screen & the new Ryzen 5 8640 HS processor. If you notice, this Intel Ultra Core is 125U, the U meaning it's a low power consumption processor, the Ryzen 5 has the H meaning it's high end. The Ryzen was cheaper also.
