Be careful of the hinge, and I don't think you can upgrade the RAM on these.

I was wondering if they fixed that issue yet…my 2016 hp is still working but the hinges are toast

No issues with hinges on a 2015 or 2021 Envy. I don't like the 2021 envy. Serious touchscreen driver failures and laptop casing is more squared, so not as comfortable to hold or use.

Lunar Lake laptops is at door step, no wonder last gens are heavily discounted now. Lunar lake is a bigger bump up than any previous generation upgrade. Lenovo claims its one laptop can play video for a whole day (24hr) - longer than MacBook Air M2 and M3.
