I think it could with DSC. Probably won't be able to do HDR 240hz at 4k. Maybe just 240hz 4k no hdr.

It will get complicated to explain. The 240hz mode comes wil caveats, 1st is the lossless compression DSC, need a display to support it. 2nd is nvidia GPU can use 2 ports for that one port with DSC enabled, https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/a..._4~zj~PP9x
That's as far as I know. Thus, I'd rather go full native 4k 240Hz on DP 2.1
