Why?

If I got to Chipotle, everyone who works there is local and their ingredients come from all over the place.

If I go to a local joint, everyone who works there is local and their ingredients come from all over the place.

The difference is what, exactly?
Farm to table is a thing if you read. And put forth effort to find them.

Baja Fresh and Moe's are some other good alternatives to Chipotle. Moe's even gives you unlimited free ships and has a delicious free salsa bar.

I would've just told them you don't have that much money and just walk out.
Same. I've done that at subway before when they wouldn't honor a coupon due to "manager policy" even though the coupon should have been valid at all subways. It was a $40+ order

Lots of negative sentiment here about Chipotle. You would think their business is doing poorly but last week's earnings report proved otherwise...
I mean their sketchy business practices are what made them successful financially plus they have spent decades building up their brand, which isn't for anything.

Also, they do have a decent product and are widely available in most places across the US. I'm sure there are plenty of towns where Chipotle is still one of the better options for non-tableservice restaurants. Not to mention their closest competitiors like Qdoba, etc. are nowhere near as large as Chipotle is.

Free is free but yikes! This really isn't a slick deal. Isn't this something they likely send in Their app or something?!?

More of the money will stay in your community if the owners have kids that participate in local events. They don't have to pay a percentage in franchise fees to a corporation in another state.

CAVA is much better if you're on the east coast and have one nearby.
Well, maybe CAVA on the east coast is good, but I went to one in San Diego that was terrible. It was definitely more expensive and with smaller portions than Chipotle and the food wasn't great. I prefer Mediterranean style food over Mexican style, but I would rather go to the local Chipotle than to CAVA.

Lol, yes for work events. I got tired of the sandwich places and Italian places our work was always using, so I suggested a few other places and they all been hits including Chipotle catering.
