There's a difference if you're planning to use your guard and you don't want the disc to grind it. Many aren't interchangeable. You can often buy a different guard for your grinder, but don't just assume that both types will work with any given grinder.
I'm just got Harbor Freight sale Warrior discs $2 and just fine (not Pro/work tasks).

But Chinese brands at Aliexpress/Amazon/Walmart not middle but very low.
You need to buy it and try to understand difference yourself if you don't understand.
Chinese junk ends very fast, HF is OK for non critical tasks, for work/biz just go Bosch/Makita/etc.
Of course, if it's well payed job - I'll go at minimum with Ryobi if not with Bosch/Makita/etc.
So, for non-critical work SOME stuff from HF pretty good.
But Chinese "brands" from Amazon I tried couple times - thanks, never ever again.
In this video guy said for $4 Warrior flap disc not so good, I agreed. But I got them for $2 deal each, huge difference, OK for non-pro purposes.
I like Norton, BTW, but they are pricey.
