That's not how this works... A T29 Flap Disc has a conical shape and has an angle when you look across the abrasive material. T27 is the flat flap disc. No difference otherwise.

You got me on this one. I don't need flap discs often, but they're definitely nice to have around when you do.

There's a difference if you're planning to use your guard and you don't want the disc to grind it. Many aren't interchangeable. You can often buy a different guard for your grinder, but don't just assume that both types will work with any given grinder.

My grinder is supposed to have a guard? Those just get in the way.

Harbor freight has more junk than 'diamonds in the rough'. Their abrasives are middle of the pack, at best. Not worth paying more than what these are currently priced at. Benchmark Abrasives [amazon.com] makes good quality abrasives that will dunk on HF's, for apparently around the same price.

You need to buy it and try to understand difference yourself if you don't understand.

I finished my kid's bedroom walls, hard plaster, gypsum and concrete, with 2 Warrior flap discs and 2nd still good, not bad at all. And all the time in HF I seen pro guys, it's mean some HF stuff is OK.
Of course, if it's well payed job - I'll go at minimum with Ryobi if not with Bosch/Makita/etc.
So, for non-critical work SOME stuff from HF pretty good.
But Chinese "brands" from Amazon I tried couple times - thanks, never ever again.
In this video guy said for $4 Warrior flap disc not so good, I agreed. But I got them for $2 deal each, huge difference, OK for non-pro purposes.
I like Norton, BTW, but they are pricey.
