More Gold Points if you buy it from a retailer instead of the Nintendo store. You get the gold point equivalent of full price when you buy a code from a retailer like Target and Best Buy.

If you have cheap eShop credit though, that may work better though.

It's so dumb that GameStop won't let you use your $5/month rewards towards this.

Question or statement?
Question: yes it's a lot of fun but it doesn't work with split joycons. If I remember correctly I ended up buying 8bitdo controller so we could play 2 player.

Statement: nice, have fun.

To get full price gold points, would you have to wait until the sale ends before redeeming the code?

Nope it's based on the full price code.

Bought Mario and Rabbids: Sparks of Hope Gold on a price mistake at Gamestop back in March for $20 and got 450 gold points (the equivalent of the $90 original price code.)

What I mean is since its on sale right now everywhere (not price mistake), a redeemed code would probably award the sale gold points. Not that big a deal, just curious...

Their reply was accurate. If you buy directly from the eshop your points are based on purchase price. If you redeem a code, regardless of what you paid for the code or what the current price is, you will get points based on the full retail price

Does anyone know if the physical cartridge has all the games or do you have to download anything?

If you were one of those people who got the Best Buy rewards $5 added a week ago or so, this would make a good purchase to use it. I can verify it works.

Cool little deal, used my $10 bb rewards certificate that was expiring tomorrow and got for less than $7 with tax!
