You can activate phone #1 to have the bundled 1-yr and units loaded to it. Then activate phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from phone #1; service on phone #1 (phone number, 1-yr, units) get transferred to phone #2, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #2 get added on top, giving phone #2 two years of service and 2x the units.

If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.

Folks, just so you're aware...

The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.

It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.

No need to be insulted - for many people (for example, those who use less than 4 minutes of phone talk per day) paying $2 (and sometimes less) per month for a phone service which includes a new smartphone every year is a very good deal.

The real question is, how do you pass the order verification on QVC? They end up cancelling my order a 1-2 days later
Why would they cancel your order? Is this new customer only?

Moto G Play series in the past have had poor specs. Looks like 2024 is reasonably decent. Had purchased two 2022 Moto G Power for $50 last year in June with similar one year plan. That phone had stopped major updates with Android 12 and lucky if any security updates still come.

This one has Android 13 and Snapdragon instead of MediaTek in Power. Not bad if you are able to work the new customer code.

How is the phone itself? I've bought a couple of these type of throw away 1 year phones before just to have a burner when buying cars. Paying $30 to have dealers not call you on your everyday cell is so worth it. Anyhow, one was an LG which wasn't too bad a phone for this kind of deal. The last was a Samsung and my gawd it's the slowest, most unusable phone ever made. Does anyone know if this Moto is slow as molasses or if it's at least usable to run apps with?
Reviews have been good. It has a Qualcomm processor again, the 2022 and 2023 models did not. Avoid any MediaTek phone, especially the low-budget ones. And remember, it's a 4G phone, not 5G. I'm still using my 2021 G Play as a daily. Actually, I have two.

Thank you. Do you have the steps? There is already an active line on the main account I want to get the 2nd line moved back into.
Do I start with the main account and request to transfer the 2nd line into it?
Say you want to add Line A in Account A to Account B (Line B in account).
1) First remove Line A from Account A if you haven't already done so. (Login to Account A, Manage Lines, Select Line A to remove, then click on Device and 'Remove from Account'. A verification code will be sent to Line A. Enter it to verify. Line removed)
2) Log in to Account B, Manage Lines, Add a Line.
3) Select Line B (or other active lines in this account) to receive a verification code.
4) Once verified, select Merge an existing line and enter Line A phone #. a code will be sent to Line A for verification.
5) Enter the verification code and Line A will be added to Account B.

I jumped on the deal a few years ago, for its insane value. Things didn't go smoothly, and after several hours, dealing with their abysmal customer support, I cut my losses. The phones still sit in my closet unused. I won't dive into all the different ways in which things went sideways, but my advice is stay away.

I had that phone for several years too as I renewed my plan annually with a deal similar to this one. That was a bad phone. ;-) Now I have a 2022 Moto Stylus and it is a step up. I just got that about a month ago and trying to decide whether to bite on this deal and sign up for the TF deal for two more years. I just use the phone on my walks to listen to audiobooks and podcasts and even the Samsung A13 was OK for that, but not much else.

Hmm, yeah I've got unlimited minutes + some data on a monthly plan. I really just want a new phone and don't even care about adding on anything from the new plan. I definitely want to keep my existing phone number and plan. Can this work?
Yes, you can transfer [reddit.com] your existing service to this phone and continue the monthly unlimited plan. You will likely have 2 plans listed, one (current plan) for your monthly unlimited, and the other on reserve (other plan) for this 1500 TTD that expires in one year after activation.

I've done this all the time for my kids when they were younger. And it was fine. Just disable things you don't need. And if you have GV it can still be a phone on wifi. But you could also just activate it and then unlock them after 60 days just in case. If you have any more questions let me know.
Also if you use Plex check out Symfonium if you have a local music library. Its been great for music & audiobooks.
Thank you for the Symfonium recommendation. I had not heard of this one. Tried and purchased the full version. Just what I was looking for.

Yeah, the phone was really slow. so I disabled/uninstalled all the unnecessary services/apps on that phone, and it works fine after that, and I don't have a performance issue anymore.
