Welcome to 2024. We moved passed 2014 CDMA vs GSM stupidity.

Nope. I ported multiple. Just open Google voice number and unlock for $3. Then create voice main pin and that's it. Provide those to total by Verizon when you want to transfer

This will most likely go down to $100 in a couple of months based on previous Razr series.

No, man...it's a CDMA device - it won't work on Mint, which is GSM only.
Once unlocked Motorola phones have worked on all networks for years - as long as the carrier accepts the specific model of phone.
You need to read the specs for which network bands it includes before posting misinformation and getting people confused.

Pretty good deal. But I have the 2023 version bought from Metro, unlocked but not yet used, so I'll skip this one.

As a deal, it's pretty good. But, I would add that the 2024 variant now uses Mediatek instead of Qualcomm. Qualcomm still performs better than Mediatek. Day to day, you won't see much except for maybe camera performance between 2024 and 2024 plus.

I love the form factor of the razr, but I can't bring myself to buy a phone with a crease in the screen that will get worse over time, especially when considering Motorola's lack of warranty support on the 2023 models.

Same deal with Cricket, though it is 60 dollars a month with unlimited data, no downgrade in speed use as much data as you want. Except you have a 6 month unlock with cricket

But I think Cricket locks the phone for 6 months or one year and you have to maintain service through all that time to get it unlocked. This Total Wireless one will be unlocked after 60 days, even with only 30 days of service.

You need to add cost for 6. months of cricket service also in the phone cost .
