I got this email early this morning and was able to transfer some extra points I had lying around in my Chase account.

It has to be an increments of 1000. And I saw the points reflect on my Bonvoy account within a couple minutes.

"This is better than the previous 50% transfer bonuses we have seen but still isn't worth considering unless you just need a small top up for an award as Chase UR points are so much more valuable."

Hyatt for one, which has a much better award chart (generally tops out at 25-30k per night)

Three questions if somebody could help me out:
-I have 220k Chase UR points. What would this get me in Bonvoy points & actual nightly stays? Assuming each hotel is different, but on average.
-Do Bonvoy points expire? If so, is there a workaround like transfering between accounts?
-If not this, any recommendations for best use of my points? Open to all options (flights, hotels, sell to broker). I see prior comment says Hyatt points conversion is more valuable but I rarely have stayed at Hyatts & like Marriotts.
Thanks

I think I can transfer ur to Marriott then to Alaska mile, if my calculations is right it would be 1:0.57 instead of 1:0.33.

CUR has more flexibility and worth more on international flight tickets.

Hyatt is really good if you pick your spots. I got a room recently that would have been $425 for 8k chase points. The only issue is Hyatts are only in major cities for the most part and sometimes you have to pay for parking.

Doesn't look like there's a max amount of points, but you'd get 70% more points... so 374k
I'd say an average redemption is 30-50k a night, so between 7 and 12 nights at marriott (more if you do book 4, get 5th free).

I think Marriots are worth about .006 cents/pt, with the 70% that means 0.0102 cents/pt. Hyatt is generally valued around .022 cents/pt so still a lot more valuable..

You would need the CSR or CSP to be able to transfer to partners.

Hyatt is by far the best place to use Chase points a majority of the time. You can often double the value of the chase point by transferring to Hyatt. Marriot isn't good, but I have used this method to keep my activity since I have a lot of Marriot points and have very little activity any more. Someday I will use all of them on a trip.

Marriott requires some activity every 24 months. Your 220k would transfer over at 1.7 factor which isn't bad. I have used this transfer method to stay active with Marriot. Hyatt is the better place to transfer points. I'm not sure on your workaround, but 220k of Hyatt points could earn you 40 nights in a low demand Hyatt Place, and as few as 10 nights at a Fairfield. So much better to use with Hyatt. FYI, A majority of my Hyatt free night redemptions have been between 5k and 10k of points for each free night at Hyatt Place. Even Hawaiian Hyatt resorts give you 2X value on your points vs straight cash redemptions from what I have seen.
