Agreed my ultimate rewards points are so much more valuable than regular Bonvoy points, so the conversion still stinks.

Three questions if somebody could help me out:
-I have 220k Chase UR points. What would this get me in Bonvoy points & actual nightly stays? Assuming each hotel is different, but on average.
-Do Bonvoy points expire? If so, is there a workaround like transfering between accounts?
-If not this, any recommendations for best use of my points? Open to all options (flights, hotels, sell to broker). I see prior comment says Hyatt points conversion is more valuable but I rarely have stayed at Hyatts & like Marriotts.
Thanks
I use mine for Hyatt & transferring to airline partners for cheap overseas flights.

This is a good transfer bonus IF you don't need your points for business intl air travel and/or need a change from Hyatt.

I dont like Marriott's point system for transferring from CUR.

I am doing a trip during Thanksgiving. Two nights at a Hyatt were 12k pts a night. Four RT flights were 72k points on Jet Blue. So four flights and two nights at a hotel were 96k points.

At a Marquis Marriot (which cost the same as the Hyatt I am staying at dollar wise) was 94k points a night. A regular Marriott (which was about $50 cheaper than the Hyatt I am staying at) was 72k points.

If you wanted to stay in a Marriott, you are probably better off booking through the portal than transferring your points.

You need to stay 4 nights to make it worthwhile. Everyone saying Hyatt is more valuable which is true but you have a limited footprint. Max value will always be dependent on the location and hotel brand.

A stay of four nights at a Marriott with a 5th night free in a European city is a very good value, though with their dynamic pricing now it might be reduced (typical Marriott there). We've stayed in London, Paris, and Ghent with Marriott, and all properties were very nice. I can't understand why Marriott can do well in Europe and then fail so strongly in the U.S.

Then again, Hilton's Conrad hotels are outstanding. The one in Dublin is fantastic and so is the one in Philadelphia. If you've never tried that brand, I highly recommend it.

220K would get you 374,000 bonvoy points with this promotion.

The internet is full of sites and forums (and facebook groups, etc.) offering suggestions to answer your question.

If you want to blow them all in one go... 5-night stays (which would include the lowest-point night free) on pointsaver awards at expensive hotels (think Hawaii). Can sometimes be had for under 200K for the 5-night stay for a hotel going at $700+ a night. These value ratios only make sense if you would even consider paying cash for the room at some high rate. Otherwise you might as well just book using the chase portal with the 25-50% bonus with the chase sapphire preferred/reserve.

Unless you need some Marriott points this is not a good deal. Chase Ultimate Rewards is basically cash

Keep an eye out for the Air France/KLM monthly specials; they regularly have seats from the USA to Europe for 15,000 points each way. Those - and Hyatt - are the only times I transfer points these days.

Marriot Bonvey seems to offer a bonus of 5000 for miles every 60000 points. 10000 miles for every 60000 points for united. Does that change the calculation enough?
