That's not true. This is one of the most common oils used in 4 stroke motorcycles.

I run T6 5w-40 in everything I own (Kohler 18hp mower, 2004 VMax, 2018 Wr250r, 2k watt inverter generator, 3500w standard generator, 2004 Zuma 125cc, Buddy 125cc and F350) minus my car due to cats and kids two strokes for obvious reasons. You could do 15w-40 in everything in a warm climate but I'm in Kansas and have a snow blower. Also the 5 will protect better at initial cold startup which is where most friction occurs. Diesel oil has a zinc additive which provides superior anti wear properties which is why people love the T6 so much. The zinc will clog gas cats though which is why you don't put it in a car.

Is there any way to get Menards to sell it by the case instead of jug? Looks like the rebate can get $40 on a case so max of $80 that way instead of $30 max on separate jugs.

I work there.. pretty sure oil is sold as each and not as pkg. You can bring a package up to the regs and they'll scan it and it'll let them know right there. If they can't choose pkg then no.

I run 15w40 in everything, never had a cad converter issue. How much zinc gets burned and goes out the exhaust one wonders and is it still zinc after combustion. All my vehicles are 20 years old plus and 150k +

Years ago I bought a couple cases of Sprecher root beer. The girl at the register scanned the bar code on the box and it rang up at 2.99. She said "you have two"? And I told her no, 12 - there are 6 4-packs in each case. She stared at me, cancelled the transaction, scanned again, typed around in her register and told me the total, which was a bit over $6 with tax. I again told her there are multiple units in each case but she insisted she did it correctly.
