Just today, my local Costco had a box of 8 of those pouches (various meals), with 2 servings each, for $40, which breaks down to $2.50 per serving, and I could buy it and walk out with it right then.
This deal is cheaper, at $2.19 per serving, but not only do I have to wait to have it delivered, but once I open the can, I have to find a way to reseal it.

Just today, my local Costco had a box of 8 of those pouches (various meals), with 2 servings each, for $40, which breaks down to $2.50 per serving, and I could buy it and walk out with it right then.
This deal is cheaper, at $2.19 per serving, but not only do I have to wait to have it delivered, but once I open the can, I have to find a way to reseal it.

I will say the cans of chicken, pork sausage, and beef look like winners to me if you are up to making your own meals. I've done my own pork dehydration and done biscuits and gravy on the trail and it's substantially better than MH. You can easily bring tortillas, cheeses, seasonings, rice, pasta, and do your own meals for far less than than the $5/pouch Costco deal.
Very disappointing a food product doesn't contain nutritional information in a readily accessible way.

MH is always off on calories. Look at their three day supplies and they are at about 1000 calories a day. For reference, look at military MRE which are designed for highly active soldiers. Those are 2-3k each.
It's really hard to stay positive in stressful situations when you're hungry.
