For Amazon Firestick customers only. Amazon is again running a free $5 digital credit which pops up on the top banner of ads/previews.

What is different about this onee though it makes use of the microphone from the remote to provide answers to a short quiz.

At the end, it asks for your 10 digit phone number to text a one-time use code.

It didn't understand my ph # either, but I said yes. I did receive link via text, but said code was already used. Waste of time. I've never had issues claiming other free credits through fire TV.

Finally, been waiting for someone to post this since last night...LOL! I turned on my TV and this was right on the splash screen so I did the quiz and said my phone number. Over and over she repeated back a wrong number, was driving me crazy! I went to my other Firetvstick, but didn't have the ad there to test. Good to know it's a glitch for others too (sorry!) and I haven't seen the ad again today.

So I just tried it talking to Alexa on a Dot and she also hears wrong. No matter what number I say, she hears 415-860-7729.

I had the same issues as everyone else - got my # wrong, somehow still got the text, said already redeemed.

I didn't post it because I didn't want to piss people off. I'm hoping they figure out he bug and fix it.

There's a Ford ad you just watch for $5 credit. There's a thread on here about that one, not sure if it's still being shown, but I got it on 7/30.

I have the same 'already claimed' issue everyone else does. I contacted customer support and they said they'd give me a $5 credit back on my credit card. Um, ok? We'll see if it shows up.
