It's a great deal even if you keep the battery imo, Milwaukee rarely has large batteries for close to $10/ah. I paid 99 bucks for my m12 vac, a 6 gallon cordless from Milwaukee is basically a steal at this price

I believe you can also cancel part of the order over text or live chat with Home Depot right? I remember canceling part of an order for a "hack" deal a while back over live chat on their website but im not sure if they still have live chat.
did not work for me when I tried to cancel over text. also it has been 10 days since the item that I did not pick up at a different store had been automatically cancelled and the refund still does not show up.

pro-rated receipt that splits the item and the free item. Take back or cancel the thing you don't want.
Thank you.

Is the 9 gallon that much better? The dual battery is kind of turning me away. But also wondering if 6 gallon has good enough power

Dual battery means it has double the power (36v).... 18v is fine for most jobs but its not getting anywhere close to a real plug-in shop vac in terms of suction

HD has disabled the option to split ship/pick up for a while now. Just ship both home and return. As long as you see the itemized list of the two items when check out, with the price for each accordingly, you can always return one of them for the "hack"
Is it better to have hack shipped to home over picking up in store? Thx

I think the 9 gallon is even better at $299; free tools list goes up to $309, using that, the hack cost is $147.04.
4.5 HP on the 9 gallon vs the 3.5 HP on the 6 gallon. 36v motor vs 18v.
What I went with anyway. Pay more get more....(about $32 more)
Not seeing the free battery for the 9 gallon. How do I use this method with the 9 gallon?

I always have them shipped to home, and I have a whole 3 months to consider keeping the whole package, or return the stuff I don't need, and I can stop by Home Depot whenever it's convenient for me.

Having it shipped to the store, you have 7 days to come pick up or they return them back to stock and cancel the order. The only upside to that is you can return the parts you don't need right then and there and be done with it.

no free battery. Free tools, the highest value of which is $309. Same hack.
Edit: looks like they ended it. Was there when I ordered yesterday

Free tool is still there. I'm not seeing where or what types of free tools there are to bundle with it....
