Solid GPU and monitor for an Esports player but these specs at this price seem undesirable to me. CPU is 2 generations old but the GPU is still good. Screen has a good refresh rate but is niche and many players would prefer higher resolution at 165hz over 1080p@higher FPS. If it was new it might be reasonable, or if it had better screen.

Terrific deal for esports. On the pro scene, hardly anyone plays above 1080p for tactical FPS (CS2, COD, Valorant, Apex etc). Nor do they need DLSS 3 frame gen, due to latency. That said, while the CPU is indeed two generations old, it's also not subject to Raptor Lake microcode bugs and worse yet, oxidation issues.

1080p is perfectly fine for a small screen.

17 incher is not small. Maybe for 15 incher, it's good. It's a missed opportunity for sure. With 1400p, it's a better choice for productivity

Solid FPS machine, in for one. 17 inch 360hz form factor is not available in the current gen. Thanks for finding this.

3080ti only edges out 4070. Woot refurbished computer is more like a used 5 year old laptop. Can tell from experience purchasing other electronics off that site.
3070Ti sits above 4070 in most games and you're here stating 3080Ti just edges out the latter? Also, this is factory reconditioned not Woot refurbished. Whatever you're smoking, take it out on some other thread.

In your opinion……
Nah, it really is unless you're having the screen right against your face

Exactly.
4080 > 3080ti > 3070ti > 4070 ~= 4060 > 3060

Specs do not match what's in the box on the Woot site. Specs state 3080 TI and what's in the box states a 3080…..which one is it?
