Decent overall reviews on the knife but it doesn't sound like very knowledgeable opinions, calling it a stainless steel knife when it's D2.

In this case, the blade is D2 and the scales are "stainless steel" or "green camo" in color.

Yeah I saw that, what I was getting at is the language of the writeups are not really reflecting people who know a lot about knives like the action and any commentary about it being a tough tool steel blade and so forth so it's hard to say objectively how good it is - though at this price for the materials alone it's probably good as a work knife.

I've had the knife since Jul. Great blade paired with bad scales; not very grippy. Also quite heavy. For under $20 I like it though!
