Fasteners Inc. has the Dewalt Toughseries construction jack for $99 down from $119. It originally charged me $8.74 to ship but I bought two and added NEWCUSTOMER10 for a total price of $188. The site did not charge me tax and I don't know the minimum for free shipping because the site said $199 but my total was less than that.

Irwin makes a similar jack for $99, but the reviews I read favor the Dewalt because the trigger is on the back so you press down to lift rather than having to squeeze the trigger.

Thanks OP, I just bought a couple from HD for a job and they were excellent. Precise, easy to use and handled the weight with ease..

Just bought 2 from here, hopefully they'll ship and fairly quickly and then can return the new ones to HD and save a few $$.

I don't have a Menard's near me, so I'm not going to say no because of the store. I will say that the DeWalt is definitely worth the extra couple bucks and no tax.
You can step on the DeWalt to lift the item, and that makes it useful for 4 appendages instead of just 2.

They aren't actually on sale; it's their 11% rebate time. So you have to mail in for the rebate (unless they finally take it online?) and it's in the form of Menards credit.

I saw these the other day at Home Depot and they seem really well built and well designed. I wanted them but have no idea what I'd use them for.

As someone who does allot of work himself around the house when you need it they are indispensable. Moving washer dryer, ever need to move one out of place? Fix a clog or clean out the dryer vent? Fridge, most are on wheels but if you have a chest freezer and no wheels these help you move a dollies under the freezer. Heavy dining table or a king bed frame. Doors, cabinets if you are doing remodels. etc.

FYI...
  • Shipping is a flat rate $8.74 for orders up to $150, then free.
  • Tax is charged for CA, but not in most (all?) other states.
  • Other current coupons are
    • BUYMORE250 - $25 off $250 DeWalt
    • BUYMORE750 - $80 off $750 DeWalt

Note that BUYMORE75 - $5 off $75 DeWalt has been used up and is no longer valid

Convinced me! Grabbed a pair and filled up on some odds and ends to get to $250 and use the $25 off $250 coupon. Thanks!

this is exactly what I need but I need something that can take more weight like maybe 1000 lbs
has anyone seen something like that? I never did and this thing is the closest I've seen but only takes 350

A farm jack is similar if you have the clearance and can do much higher loads.
