People are finding this for 20 bucks at Costco. And, we are only a few months away from Black Friday, so I would just wait. First party Nintendo games like this will be 35 or 40 bucks for Black Friday. And, probably even cheaper next year when the new Nintendo console comes out.
I would suggest trying out the demo first because it's definitely different from a typical Mario game.
Where are you seeing that people are finding it for $20 at Costco? I'd love to find it for that price!

I don't expect First Party titles to reach less than $30 because they always try hard to hold their MSRP prices even if they release a new console. I've heard about the $20 price in Costco for this title though. The only time you get to see sub $30 is if they release the Play Select with rereleases with new cover (like the greatest hits green label from Playstation). Looking forward to a $35 price for Princess Peach in the holidays.

Somebody posted it on here about a week ago. They went into their local Costco, and the game was discounted down to $20.

Correct. It is more in line with like the last two Yoshi games or Kirby Forgotten Land. As an adult, I still enjoyed the, but I had seen the announcement trailers and knew that prior to even downloading it. I am still waiting for the Black Friday pricing or even the Nintendo Select release for closer to $20.

This is the international version despite the picture that's shown on the site. I'm not a stickler for this type of thing but just fyi; Luigi's Mansion 2 was also not the ESRB copy when I got it from woot.

Anyone play this? What price would you buy this at? I felt really shafted with Mario Strikers for such a small amount of content at $60

Not sure if it's the same for this game but I ordered paper Mario and the thousand year door from Woot and even though it showed the picture with the esrb sticker in the lower left corner, what I received didn't have it. It was a middle east version of the game. I know they aren't region locked but just something to keep in mind in case you want to trade to gamestop or anything. It doesn't say anywhere in the description or title that it's this way. Thankfully Woot was nice enough to give me a refund once I explained the situation to them. Only game that specifically warned of the non-US version I saw was luigis mansion 2 HD.

$20. I got it via Gamefly and played through it real quick. Maybe 10 hours. Its charming, but it runs slowly (someone said similar to the recent Yoshi games). If you like to 100% games, this one is brutal. Not because of difficulty, but if you miss one shine during a run, theres no checkpoint system. Youre redoing the level, and some of them run 5-10 minutes long.
