unless they got new shipments in, this is going to be even more YMMV than the 1199 clearance. there were almost none on the east coast when i looked a few weeks ago.

Your mileage may vary, metaphore for not every costco offering the same deal just like everyone's driving style is different yielding slightly different miles per gallon

You need to go to the store to the customer service/return counter. Costco doesn't do price adjustments over the phone. I believe that their system shows the price that is currently on Costco's website.

I bought a couple of weeks ago during the $1199 sale. Went in today to get a price adjustment. But because I bought online with in-store pickup, they say I can't reference an in-warehouse price for adjustment.

So I get to haul mine back and repurchase. A bit of a pain but worth $200.

You can call your local Costco and see which has it in stock (item #9065033); then call the in-stock costco and ask to confirm that it's on the shelf. I'm in Norcal and picked mine up in Marysville, so results will vary based on your location. I can confirm as of 8/03 that there are a few left in Merced CA and Modesto CA.

If you've been waiting for the 65" C3 to drop like I have then now is the time to get it for a phenomenal price; this deal is extremely YMMV, but if you can find it within a 1-2 hour drive like I did, it might be worth your time.

Can't stress enough how easy it is to call in to the store, they can be super friendly and helpful in extending the search area to help you find which location has it in stock.

One of the unofficial rules of SD or at least it was, is not to call the store to ask if an item is in stock or about a price. When you call the store you raise the risk of an employee buying the item, notifying friends and relatives, putting the item aside to hold for later purchase, etc. It's always best to go check in person.
