unless they got new shipments in, this is going to be even more YMMV than the 1199 clearance. there were almost none on the east coast when i looked a few weeks ago.

Your mileage may vary, metaphore for not every costco offering the same deal just like everyone's driving style is different yielding slightly different miles per gallon

That will only work if that particular Costco store changed the price on this TV to reflect the $999 price.. which most of them have not and will not.

Just went to my Costco to look for this. They sold the last one when it was marked down to $1200 but they had a display Sony xr77a80cl for $1200 so I grabbed it on hold for a day. On the fence about keeping it though. How slick is that?

tried to price match using a photo at my local warehouse, I got the last one at $1200. They wouldn't price match, it would be worth my time to take it back if I knew I could turn right around and purchase it for $1000. However, I don't know that it works that way. Still a good deal, but $200 extra is always nice to have with these summertime AC bills

Based on the item#, the TV is currently a deleted item at Costco and they will not be ordering any new tvs in this model. So, if you're lucky to find it at any rate below $1600, lucky you. They are rare in the midwest. Some locations report having one and usually those are a return or floor model. Store to store the price is usually $1600 and in one occasion it was $1100.
