this wouldn't be a bad choice I guess. Can they not fit in your normal fridge? After we dip them we just keep them in Tupperware which we can shove pretty much anywhere in our fridge

This was my best work from home purchase. 4 years and it's still going strong and big enough to hold lots of drinks and my insulin and freezer is great to store ice and popsicles for my sugar lows. I paid $175 for this back then and still working great. It's also just short enough where I can store this under my sit/stand desk and have the desk low enough where I can put my chair on the highest level and still be able to be comfortable.

I was looking into this and the midea one. This site says it runs warm and needs to be "calibrated". Can it be calibrated? I couldn't find anything by googling.

I believe there is a dial to adjust. Article says things are fine when adjusted from default warmness.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a mini fridge where the freezer actually works?
Get one where the freezer section is its own area. Here is one example

This would be great for an outdoor pool area. I bought the one from Costco, but doesn't have a freezer. The Costco one is $99.

There's a bigger one, I believe, 4.7 cubic feet for around 188 there at Walmart.

Do you like this Costco one?

I have almost the exact same one. Sits at around 45 degrees. Freezer is ok.
Same. Fridge is great. Freezer seems to lose "coldness" if you set the fridge too low. So for me, it can hold a few items, but ice cream melts.

Customer Support for warranty work is almost non-existent... I emailed them, and no response.

Fridge door for me also seems to "open" when I slam the freezer door.

Overall, I do like it, but I prefer the Midea 4.5 cu-ft fridge available from Costco for $150, given Costco's return policy (90 days): I'm hoping to sell my Arctic King, or repurpose it somewhere else so I can justify buying this one.

I can't speak to the quality of the latest batches of this model, but I bought a slightly used one in '21 for ~$100 and it has held up great so far. The freezer works as expected; the biggest pros for me were its size (it fits large bottles of alcohol) and having a separate door.

I wasn't familiar with the Arctic King brand at the time, so after looking at a reviews from a couple of sites, most of them were positive enough where I felt comfortable taking a chance on it.

Others are reporting that the fridge runs warm. I've seen this comment for both midea and artic king which is why I haven't got them on sale yet.

Costco also has a $149 midea 4.5 cu ft with freezer. Love it

At default settings. It can be adjusted to work fine.

Do you have one? Are you able to check the temperature the fridge is at? How cold does it get in the coolest setting?

Seems odd that people are saying it runs warm and they aren't adjusting the dial.

Retro Fridge/Freezer [amazon.com]

I bought this last year for my ski studio condo. It's been working great. The freezer is already in pretty bad need of a defrost, but it definitely keeps ice cream frozen.
