Isn't the video card and processor kind of a bad combination?. IIRC the RX 6400 is only a x4 capable card and the 5600g is only PCI-E 3 so this combination ends up being a PCI-E 3 x4 which is low enough bandwidth to actually have an impact even on this low end gaming card.

Now even close to Entry level gaming. Lots Ram & HDD will need to be upgraded. Average steam Game is like 50 gig already. Knowing HP the hardware will low budget that is why the cost is low. Just hope during deliveries nothing is damage. Few years ago I purchased 5 full spec out HP Omen which cost as much as the video card at the time. Turn out it was a custom HP Rtx. Everything still works. Only is one of the 5 Glass front panel shatter during delivery. Hp doesn't have the replacement part. Going through support was a nightmare to actually get a hold of someone to end up support indication they don't have the replacement from
Panel of the top of the line gaming PC at the time.

This combination is about as entry level as you could get in a new pc if you intend on using it for gaming. At a minimum it will require 16 GB of RAM and an additional 500 GB to 1 TB of storage. And if that machine does have a PSU that can support something faster, I would sell it off and pick up something like a used RX 2060 which can be found for $100 or maybe a little bit more. As it stands right now it's gaming performance would be pretty abysmal. Unless this is all you can afford and no more, I would save up an extra $200 or so and get a more capable machine.

This is the worst GPU anyone can buy.

57% slower than even the low-end laptop RTX 3050 GPU: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...vsm1834749

19% slower than the long outdated GTX 1650 GPU: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...vsm1834749
