I ended up buying one. Came out to $299.99. They didn't even charge tax. Wonder why?

I like this 11 cu ft with drawers better than the $230 Insignia 7 cu ft garage ready.

I bought one of these a few months ago with a Costco Direct discount when we bought a new fridge for the kitchen. It's been doing fine in the garage and I love the drawers. Nothing gets lost in the back of the freezer anymore. It's great for maximizing storage. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Doesn't sound like it per page 7 of the manufacturer specs. They should clearly state that up front but many don't.

I like the old fashion freezers that are not self defrosting. The user manual indicates it must be defrosted maybe twice a year. Sounds like it is an old fashioned freezer from the manual. What is your opinion?

299 is the reg price at my Costco (Pocatello, ID) for what it's worth. Wonder if other stores will start lowering them. Your sale may become the new reg price. Just a thought.
