This seems like such a silly and unnecessary feature in a toaster, that I was shocked to find over 3,000 reviews and a great overall rating on Amazon for this product. However, upon closer inspection of these reviews, most of them refer to different toasters and the manufacturer uses an old, highly rated listing to push a new product. If you sort the reviews based on date, you'll find that many people have complaints about this toaster.

It may be a good deal compared to MSRP but given these reviews, I wouldn't be surprised to see this product on Woot for half the price in a few months.
