Nevermind, it just worked for some reason now.
These are great for particularly hygroscopic filaments like Nylon, TPU, and PETG. I usually toss a few reusable silica packets in there before vaccuming the bags. Just remember to dry your filament before storing if you want to be able to just open the bag and print later down the road. These will store dry filament but they won't dry out wet filament.

*I actually found some husky bins at Home Depot that have a rubber seal that I like.

I was a big fan of the rechargeable mini Foodsaver vacuum sealer until it's charging ability fell off a cliff just after the 2-year warranty expired:

I've been using these much more expensive Foodsaver bags that are a tight fit for my spools:

On Amazon Prime Day, I picked up this vacuum set primarily due to the manual pump which works so much better than the rechargeable:

This hand pump is amazing and works much better than the electric one, even when new!
In any case, I ordered both sets (electric and manual pumps) hoping these bags may work just as well as the more costly Foodsaver bags, and having a spare hand vacuum pump.
Thanks OP!
