Creamy pop I'm not as familiar with. I'm familiar with thocky if that's what you mean. You'll notice varying color switches in the descriptions. Blue are loud and clacky. Reds are pretty quiet until they impact on the keyboard. Browns are designed to be a tactile feedback - in other words, they have a mechanism that "snaps" upon certain distance of movement. It makes for a quieter noise compared to blues but has a nice sensation along with it.

If you are serious about what you want from a keyboard, I can't highly recommend enough modding it yourself. My keychron has additional sound absorbing material and foam along with electrical tape in it as well as hot swapped brown switches, o-rings on stems, and a specific style of key caps. It's a totally different experience. It is quite "thocky".

All that being said, brown switches is probably the right choice for you unless the pop you are referring to is the "clack" of blue switches which are quite noisy. Hope this helps!

Anyone know if any of these keyboards make the creamy pop sound. It's hard for me to tell by reading the description.

I had Keychron Q5 (Red), and it doesn't make the creamy pop sound. It sounds hollow. You need something like Rainy75 (what I'm using) for that nice creamy, poppy sound

I have an old school noppoo choc mini that I still love but it might be time to replace soon. I rarely see the same layout on a lot of these deals(with the F row keys directly on top of number keys). Is there a specific name for that layout?

As someone that used a dad pro 4 at home for years decade? The q line impressed me and felt it was an upgrade. I got a q2 for gaming but the other q ones I have for productivity have the scroll wheel which I really like for volume.
