I have a 6650XT and it's a very good card. Comparable to an RTX-2080-Vanilla.

Then what do you recommend may I ask?
Nothing until the next generation of cards are released. I am limping along with a 5600xt myself. $110 new. You have to find the value when you can.

What makes you assume next gen will have better cost/performance or lower current gen prices? This argument has been going on for the last 6+ years and it has only become worst on all fronts.

Because people are feeling burned by both AMD and Nvidia. It's been going on for years. They lose interest in building or maintaining computers. They settle for what they already have. It's kind of depressing when you think about it.

AMD focuses on server and Nvidia on AI. The consumer market makes up so little of their revenue now it's just all bunk. But yes I agree it's sad.

These have pcie x8, if anyone's on 3.0, keep that in mind.

It's like a 1-5% loss overall it's not a big deal on the 6600,6600xt or 6650xt Smilie

I have 6600xt. It's fine for 60fps 1440p gaming with the latest games. Need to use FSR or FSR mod for games that have dlss.

About 80-100% better with lower power consumption. Just made the same upgrade myself.

This is my first Amd card I upgraded to. I've had it for little over 5 months now and so far it's been great with no issues. I mainly play on 1440p as my cpu is old but I'm sure I can do 4k on the right game. Overall I'm very pleased with the performance. I was nervous switching from a GTX 1070. This is a great budget upgrade IMO.

20% more expensive (than 6600 XT) for 5% more performance.
