Ooooo someone tell me more about this Ryzen AI 9 365HX! Is this a step up from Intel's Meteor Lake? I heard that AMD's Zen5 is supposed to compete with Intel's upcoming Lunar Lake release.

How does this compare with this 32GB DDR5 | Intel Ultra 7 155H Lenovo?

I am at the point of my deal-hunting experience where I am no longer buying for utility and just chasing stats SMH LOL

Yes, this is the Laptop Zen 5 based CPU, offering higher performance, far superior efficiency and better integrated Graphics. As per various reviews, it can beat or offer same performance to Meteor Lake counterparts at 28W setting while Meteor Lake consuming 50W +.

Keep in mind, the integrated graphics (880M) uses shared RAM. So 24GB might be less depending on how much you allocate for VRAM. I wish this had one slot for RAM to expand, but I doubt something this thin and light will use RAM slot.

Is the Zen 5 processor worth a $300 premium? Laptop will mostly be used for coding and handling large CSV files. But needs to be agile/usable for the next 3-5years.

Thinking $300 now will extend the next purchase another year or two. Thoughts?

Also seems the ASUS screen is a definite upgrade over the Lenovo

So 880M is 15% faster than 780M, which means still a lot slower than something like a 3050.

And also, Asus. And also, gimmicky AI chip.

No thanks.

I can't say anything good about Anus. Bad impression from years ago when i bought my first and last overpriced laptop netbook.

Not sure why you're getting down voted and I completely agree. It's impressive that iGpu's have come this far but they're still slower than most entry level gpu options.

Only thing that makes sense is the power efficiency but even then it's a weak argument since last gen ryzen 9 with the 780m is only slightly slower and costs the same but you also get a dGPU 4060+ with it...

Code looks to work on other laptops too. However, this is the best priced with the new AI processor.
