The new burgers they use suck. The old ones they had for years and years were so good. I asked the store manager when I last went and she told me it was really to cut costs, they went to a less lean, cheaper cut of beef that allowed it to be "juicier" aka more fat and slightly bigger bc its a crappier cut. It doesnt taste near as good. Same for the bun and cheese she said, both were swapped out and Red Robin claimed it was for taste but as always it was to save a buck. Then they only bring you about 8 fries at a time so you are having to reorder another 8 fries over and over which is a bit annoying but they are still good.

Last time I tried their bottomless fries and they sucked. Only brought out a bit of fries initially and only really came by once to refill them. Never heard or seen the waitress again to even ask for drinks or fries. Even have to chase them down for a check. That makes the bottomless fries pointless. Not to mention the soggy fries that sat all day in a bin.

Normal price at my location is $13.99 so this is a $4 savings. Though at normal menu prices you can get a tavern double for $9.79 including bottomless fries so this doesn't seem like that big of deal. Still nice to see discounts from Red Robin. They used to have a good loyalty program but it's gone downhill in recent years.

They gutted their loyalty program. I was especially irked when you can no longer get a free birthday burger togo
That's why I made them pay for that mistake. I ordered a $20 triple meat burger with fries. For the $5 spend I ordered fried pickles which I took with me. I ordered water since I am not paying $3.50 for drink. Service was slow, ALMOST didn't want to tip since I had to ask for water twice. Maybe next time I will eat at the bar.

I'm with the other dissenters what a difference a pandemic makes. I went for the free birthday burger a few months ago and now they have changed how you can use it. You have to spend a certain amount to get it and the burgers are not even close to what they use to be. The fries are not as plentiful. The container was noticeably smaller. Also the shakes are super small more like a kids cup and not great. This place has gone downhill and fast. I do not plan on going back! Also the service was trash.

Yeah I found out the hard way a few months ago after not going last year. I just ordered a shake and gave them a tip but I regret it. The shake was small and the waitress was horrible. What a waste of money for such bad experience. It was not a happy birthday experience. I paid $6 or $7 bucks for a shake that was the size of a mini frosty and tastes like crap. Never again. Had I known it was that size I would have just left. To add insult to injury it took a while to get to the closest location. What a total fail!

Our Red Robin in Menifee is very busy all the time and that actually helps. Always hot and fresh. Lots of wait staff. These are great burgers. Not real big but soft fresh hot and good flavor. Love it.

We go every Tuesday, request no salt fries and they will come out fresh everytime! In Clearwater Florida, we love it!

Same, went twice during their last promotion. The first time we did not see the waiter for refills or extra fries. The second time we had to flag them down and we still had to wait a long time to get refills on both drinks and fries.
Unfortunately, this was my recent experience, too. Used to go to Red Robin regularly with friends, and we all loved it every single time.

After a few years not going, due to moving away, I had the opportunity to hit one up with family while traveling, and it was so disappointing. Fries were cold and limp, waiter completely disappeared, never got the condiments we asked for, etc.

Sounds like the general crapification that seems to be swallowing all the other once decent businesses has claimed another victim.

I thought it was just me. I had the same experience it's like they don't care about your service. I will not go back. Horrible server and the food has gone done the drain.

The bottomless fries isin't anything new. I think all their "gourmet burgers" come with unlimited fries. This is probably a bit cheaper of a burger so thats probably the difference. I bet if you went in on tuesday, you'd see the promo.

To really make it worth it you need to dine in. Not sure if this deal is for take out, but normal orders you can order extra fries with all the burgers

We had a RR near our high school and had a couple friends that worked there. We'd always get the heads up when managers were away and we would roll in, one person order a burger and then just bring an absolute shit load of fries out. One friend ate 11 baskets of fries.

This was early 2000's....now i usually get 2-3 baskets of fries before we are ready to leave....
The burger is part of the gourmet burger menu and has a regular price of $14.79 in southern California, so the discount is only $4.79. The quality of the fries varies greatly depending on location. I've been to locations where all the fries always out hot and fresh while other locations serve cold limp fries that have been sitting under thr\e heat lamp for hours. In general, going on a busy day will get you fresher fries -but you have to wait longer. On a promotional tuesday, business is slow, so the fries will be terrible and you probably won't get a refill.

We usually go on the first Wednesday for kids night. Last time I checked, the cheapest regular "journey" burger was $16+, so $10 sounds like a great deal for me. Usually the sides can be exchanged without additional fees, except for several premium sides. My wife and I usually get fries and side salad.

PS: $4.79 out of $14.79 is about 30%, which is great deal. The real question is whether or not you think burger and unlimited fries/salad is worth $10 to you, regardless how big the discount is.

Luckily, not my experience at all. I have a daughter who loves Red Robin. We go there once every few months. The service and the food are usually decent. Fries are usually freshly fried, and I never had to chase the server for refills.

I've been to Red Robin once in my entire life and had exactly the same experience most of the people here have had.

"Bottomless fries" but getting a small cup container full of fries and then having to flag down a server to try and get more which in turn takes another 10 minutes to bring them out.

Really in the end you probably just as many fries as you would get elsewhere.
