Real hard to justify this vs Visible $20/month for 2 years or vs USmobile Warp at $25 month which gets priority data

I did a comparison with ST and Visible with the same phone, same location, and time of day and ST was significantly faster on the Ookla app. Using iPhone SE2022. If I remember correctly, ST was pushing 130mbps and Visible was in the 60's here in East Bay, N Cal.

Contact Tracfone main office and speak to an account services manager first. It will depend of what carrier the phone was originally activated on.

Your phone will not unlock if activated as BYOD.

It will only unlock if activated with original sim/plan it was sold.

Question for the cool and helpful SD folks: I'm on a friend's grandfathered Verizon family plan ($25) without any perks (at least for me), and really, really suffer from extremely blunt and acute throttling down. Not to mention bad phone reception. I'm in Bay Area (N Cal). But I don't know enough about the cheap prepaid plans I see here to be able to compare speeds, etc. and justify switching.

Would I reasonably benefit from switching, or is it the same type of suffering with these plans? Feel free to be condescending childishly if that'll help you share more lol.

if your service is already bad on Verizon this won't help

You should try using a carrier with priority Verizon to see if that helps. Something like Visible+ or Us Mobile warp. Depending on what Verizon plan you're on, you're probably deprioritized and 5G devices get priority for 25gb on US Mobile. Alternatively you could do a free T-Mobile test drive or cricket trial to see if T-Mobile or att works best for you.

Hello World

Curious to know what 's inside this new $25 kit. If you purchased this $25 sim/plan kit, please share the contents ... 1 or 2 sim cards? And how was the activation process? GSM or just Verizon? Checked walmart website but no reviews as of yet. Thanks in advance. Also, what about data speeds? Is hotspot really excluded or just limited?

I bought the 6 month deal, it's been pretty solid so far.

Do this plan charge tax and fees on refill? My current t-mobile plan add $5 for a $30 refill. I wonder if there's any prepaid plan in the market with no fee or less fee compared to what I paid now with T-mobile.
