No they don't. Stores don't have the time or man power to hang new price tags just to screw you over for a weekend coupon.

100% WRONG. I work there and did the actual price change last night.

Pricing was changed last night but nothing was increased like you said.

Maybe one increase I remember was the 7inch bauer polishing pads went from 9.99 to 10.99 (10% increase), that does not make it qualify (for this sale) unless you have the itc membership.

If anything some clearance items went to closeout pricing which went down in cost.

It does not. I was in store earlier and did not get additional discount for ITC priced items.

Does hf do a good % off to become ITC member once in a while? I think I saw their $299 dust collector for $229 at one point... feeling some regret but may go festool

To start, I shop there a lot. I think most stuff is at least 10% overpriced at regular prices and most is around 20% too much. Then what they do is rotate sales from a percentage of to coupons that are that same percentage off. Usually you can just take 20% off the "regular" price and just wait a few weeks and it will be that price again.
They do have a good amount of stuff that only they sell so their easy warranty is why you'd get it over another place. And they have some stuff like gloves that are almost certainly cheaper than home Depot all the time. Some stuff, it's the only place to get things local, but may be cheaper on Amazon. You need to do your research.
These sales are good for stuff like hand tools. 🤷

That's why many stores are going to digital shelf tags. Adjust the prices every day or every hour if you want.

Harbor Freight doesn't even have a backroom inventory system. I really doubt they will be investing in e-ink price tags and the infrastructure to support them anytime soon.

They do percentage off coupon if you are a member from time to time, and you can become a member at any time and use that coupon. However, they don't exactly do a percentage off to become a member.
