These are great, and this is a good deal. Cheaper than anything I could find used on Facebook marketplace.

But the off-gassing is terrible, these things really smell of probably some pretty toxic plastic. I had to leave these outside to off gas for about week before I brought them inside to the home gym.

They are still a bit stinky up close but they're fine

The labeling on these weights rubs off super easy in my experience. The slightly more expensive color coded ones have raised labeling and hasn't rubbed off at all. So if that's important to you it might be worth the upgrade to the color coded ones.

Got the 260lbs black around Xmas. For $199. No rub off yet. Used them almost everyday. I like them. I am somewhat new to weights. Thing I found fascinating was each plate diameter is the same. And the thickness is different. I was used to plates being different diameters up until 45s. When the thickness changed. Anyway not sure I could be happier with my purchase.

Off gassing wasn't a big deal for us as some are making it out to be.

Tempted to get a colored set. My son and I lift together some times and we don't have enough weight for some lifts (between the two of us lifting at the same time together)
