What does "unlimited" mean if there's a data cap? Borderline useless dial-up speeds thereafter?

there is no data cap, just super slow speed after 40gb high speed data, you still get data services.

Any difference in quality of Lyca vs Mint mobile. They both use T-mobile towers. Data prioritization? Video quality limit? (480p vs 720p or unlimited)

Probably 2G speeds at that point, so you can still google, do emails and possibly use GPS. But no streaming.

The main difference will be in the quality of the customer support.

The plan starts right away in case of eSim and in 2 days in case of regular sim.

$49 a month is wayyyy too much nowadays. BYOD plans can be had for like $25 or less for 30gb (boost, mint, redpocket, visible).

How much data do you all use? I am mostly connected to Wi-Fi and average 2-3 GB per month on my 5Gb mint plan.

If I only need this for 4 or 5 months, I'm assuming I can cancel the service early without any weird charges or penalties?

As in mint being better? Because the quality of their CS has fallen off a cliff big time since they got bought out. IMO no better than any other MVNO at this point.
