Way expensive. Paper and plastic plates were dirt cheap even two years ago, post COVID. Now their prices almost doubled or even tripled everywhere online. You could get a pack of 600 9 inch, coated thick paper plates for $20. Now they're $40-$50.

Makes more sense to shop locally in small wholesale stores where the prices are still sane.

Local wholesale stores? Where are you finding those? And what are you paying?

Everything, including groceries, utilities, insurance, taxes, transportation costs, housing, you name it, has skyrocketed in price over the last 3 1/2 years. Pay more, get less. How can that be?

I can only tell you that I paid $17.99 for a 240pk of Dixie 8.5" plates at Costco in May. I'm not sure about this size, but it's probably similarly priced, since they are larger, but you are getting less in quantity.

Was just at Sam's this last week where similar Chinet plates were on sale for $17ish. Costco Dixie plates for the same size and count are around $20.

This one is good but not the best. the costco one comes in 186 count for same size and it is ULTRA which is a better quality and it comes on sale for around $17.

When consumers are willing to pay the new inflated prices they will keep that price point even when cost is lower.

I have a feeling that these will be a little flimsy I noticed that they have 2 x and 3 x why not just make a great disposable plate instead of a different grade category. It's totally ridiculous especially with the prices we have to pay.
