No it has a 6 hour battery life, takes m43 lenses, and micro 4/3rds sensor. It's completely portable if you want it to be and should be able to deliver very nice quality video from just about anywhere.

Is it worth $900? Hard to say, but it certainly isn't just a web cam.

The market for this camera feels super niche. It seems stuck in an awkward spot. Can' imagine needing a $900 M43 camera for streaming. Pros are probably go with DSLRs or mirrorless setups, and casual streamers will just use their phones.

It might work for desktop streaming, but pros can get something better, and most gamers just want a good webcam.

Most morrorless cameras can do Webcam mode anyway... this is a cash grab for streamers who don't know any better.

Actually both Canon and Sony sell something similar. It's straight video centric, but there are rigs designed for this shape.

I know sony has the ILX-LR1 Industrial Camera looks similar to this. I see ppl use them on drone or for super long timelaspe. But that's a professional camera, full frame, 8K25,4K60, slog3.

This is 4K30 and can use CINE lenses made for the M43 format.

It also has multi cam controls that allow you to control a whole set with it. It supports both H.264 and HEVC formats, so it has some professional use capabilities as well.
