I have the version 1 of this bag bought from a few years ago, one of the zipper broke and I've emailed their customer service. They want me to ship the bag back in order to see if I qualify for a replacement. I've told them no thanks since I've bought it for around $13.

I bought one anyway, but I am curious as to how big the water bottle pockets are? I have had a thule for years but the pockets are too small for my 24 oz owala.

This particular model in Targus is not good quality, especially the handle and shoulder straps will break quick and easy.

So this is just a bag pretty much, that just happens to hold a laptop.

Isn't the sleeve padded on the bottom? I have the targus 2 and the laptop compartment is lightly padded. It is slightly suspended up from the bottom and the lower back padding folds under as well when you set it down.

Got this item delivered now. OK quality. I got it for work, to carry 15.6 laptop. For this price, good one. Don't expect it to last years.

Just picked one up. The bag does have decent cushion on the bottom, front and back. It protects nice enough for $12
