CPU: 7320C: Mobile Quad-Core APU using four Zen 2 cores clocked at 2.4 to 4.1 GHz and SMT (8 threads).
iGPU: AMD Radeon 610M: Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Ram : 8GB which is plenty for a chromebook at this price point.
Ports: 1HDMI, 2 USB-C and one USB-A.
The reviews call this a quality budget chromebook with a solid, but not premium, build quality that makes compromises in the right places.

Seems better than this one from a month or so ago. I picked up this one and haven't opened it yet, but this current deal seems to have a better screen resolution, backlit keyboard, and Ryzen processor. Not sure if it's $50 better though.

This of course is brand new and with all the Costco coverage and a different model that's a smaller screen, lower resolution, but a touchscreen. The resolution however is solid for web browsing and casual video watching… don't misunderstand lower to mean not good.
It depends on what the priorities are… but for $315 (incl shipping), this model is competitive and arguably slightly more portable.
If I wanted to squeeze every dollar and value the different specs, I wait for the 516 to go on sale again.
The real problem with ChromeOS is that as of about a week ago they are hinting that they are about to deprecate a bunch of extensions, including rock solid ones like uMatrix, probably because of Manifest V3 changes. And the adblockers are already feeling neutered on Chrome. Especially not working on YouTube, when other OS + browsers +/- addons work flawlessly.
These changes will make it unusable for me, especially at the low-end. I have 4 GB RAM and very low internal storage, so I actually deleted my Crostini Linux container to free up space. I got a lot of mileage out of my $80 Chromebook, but it's time to move on after it dies. I think my last ditch effort will be to powerwash it to reclaim all storage, activate Crostini again, then install Brave or another browser within the container.
