I just looked up a review for my own sake and it seems to be on par on most game medium settings but is 5-10% slower on high and ultra.

The Raw performance is on pair with 4060. I would guess that is more close to the 3070. The problem with the AMD graphic cards in general is the lack of performance with Ray Tracing. This dont bother me too much, cause the only game that I really wish to use RT right now is Cyberpunk. I just dont know if the 7700S can use FSR 3.0 (frame generation) in any game through AMD Software. If it can, it would be a huge advantage for AMD. Considering the rest of the package, this is a very nice deal. I almost got one for this price, but decide to go with the Asus Rog Flow X16 3070ti cert. refurbished for $250 more.

Good price, but hold the line, lets see if we can get that $680 price again. Consumer data is pointing to companies now slowly lowering their prices on items across the board since people have stopped careless spending or at least toned it down. If noone buys this on sale this week, I can guarantee you that next time it goes on sale probably two weeks from now it will be cheaper.

From everything I saw, and having my friends own two of these laptops, this is a great gaming laptop. From a pure benchmark perspective right on par with the 4060 but a little more energy efficient. Actually falls right at the 3080/3070ti level dead on, not the 3070.

One of the biggest selling points for this laptop is upgrade-ability. Neither ram slot is soldered and it has two M.2 SSD slots.

I think the game needs to support FSR 3.0 in order to work, unlike previous versions of FSR, especially 1.0 which could work in any game, and even on nvidia and Intel hardware. Apparently if a game supports 2.0, it can be forced to run frame generation with modding.

Usually the Good Dr.Wajahat points out when a price has been lower before, and also TC's any deals where there's been a lower price on Black Friday of all days. About $100 too much, and nvidia have pulled away again in gpu bag for the buck, tough to consider AMD right now.

This laptop has amazing battery life. Over 12 hours of web browsing on wifi. It's rare to find a laptop that can both play games at high settings as well as last a long time on battery for less demanding tasks, especially at this price.

Just had to return mine as it wouldn't get past an error screen. Had the "geek squad" help me with 3 of them and all 3 booted up with the same error message.
