This model has only gone on sale three times since its release and never this low for an open-box in excellent condition. This is the best gaming laptop you can get at this price with a great display and 7700S which sits around the RTX 4060, even beating it in some instances; not to mention a big battery (90 Whr) which is hard to get at this price.

Need something for coding and databasing on the go (need RAM) that handles a 5G connection/accepts SIM. I've been out of the laptop scene for over 10 years but am up to date on desktop counterparts.

Imagine this is a bit overkill. I do game now and then but don't care to do it on a laptop. Any suggestions?

I picked this up last year and it works great but the screen is way too dark. I do regret not taking it back when I first got it

I was waiting to see slickdeals take but ofc they sell out immediately after posted. I was seeing that the laptop runs extremely hot up to 100c and got worried. Oh well snooze you lose

You will enjoy this. I have the same laptop but the amd sandstone model, and I get 10900 timespy. It's equivalent more or less 4060. And it's played everything beautifully. This is a real good deal.

My laptop doesn't get hot at all.

I did a clean w11 install, and only downloaded adrenaline + ghelper and my asus for drivers and everything. All works well

Do you have to do a clean Windows 11 install for these open-box laptops? Do they come already reset or is the data/settings from the previous owner still there? Should I be worried that someone else installed a virus or something on it?

they do a reset on them, I did a clean install to remove all the pre existing software. , I don't like the Asus armory crate. I found the g helper + adrenaline was way nicer aesthetically and less resource hog.
