Just broke into the M12 line and I could use more batteries.
This being 1 pound lighter and little bit bigger blade might do the trick for small jobs with 2x4 or 1x material.
How is the power on this? Is it lacking with the 12v battery?
I wish this was "hackable" I don't really need the batteries.

Please do not make the mistake I did, just stick to one brand and if possible same battery/charger, something like Ryobi One+
Having said that, I really want to be able to cut at least 2x4's without having to strain the blade or the saw. I used to have a ryobi that I borrowed, it cuts through up to 3/4" without a problem but it has to be completely level/straight or it binds, and it's SUPER LOUD.
Is this the ultimate in DIY person's garage?
I will never really need to cut anything deeper than 2", maybe at some point I might need to cut 4x4 but I guess I can just go around or cut it in two different passes? I assume those need a table saw of some kind right?
PS:
What is going on with this one here: https://www.homedepot.c
Includes batteries and tools $159? Is this like a toy compared to Milwuakee?
