Cheapest price on this kit in Slickdeals history. This is an excellent, well balanced tool. It's also maybe the quietest oscillating tool with the least vibration too. Those 2 points alone make this worth it. Ask anyone who own one, the whine and hand shake drive you nuts, but Milwaukee got it right with this one.

Yes, there's a larger M18 version, but most pro-sumers will never need anything that large. I've used this on trim and drywall and it cuts like a laser. Using it indoors also isn't deafening.

Maybe not the best deal if you don't need both high output batteries, but I guess you could resell one or both to make the deal slicker. Enjoy!

Ugh. I have the Ryobi equivalent, but it's big and bulky compared to these M12 tools. Picked up the M12 drill driver with interchangeable heads a couple of months ago and it's a game changer for size/power/uitilty. Guess I'll splurge for back to school. hehe

The bare tool was down to $106 last month (here). Give it another month and I'm sure it'll be on sale again.

I reach for this one over the m18 every chance I get. The reduced vibration on the m12 make it much more pleasant to use

Which means the Two Five Amp batteries are approx $80 bucks. If someone has a pile of batteries, ya may not be worth it. Not a lot of folks have the HO 5amp of these since normally they're pricey. These are great for anyone running M12 tool that draws more running whatever tool all day long.

Anyone just getting into the series and only have a couple of batteries (sometimes the 1.5 or 2 amp that come with the pkge deal), these are a huge upgrade and bargain for the $$$.

In for one. For me, it's worth it for the batteries.

It's just a fantastic tool. I literally just used it to replace the shelf under our kitchen sink and I'm not sure what tool I would have used otherwise

Thank you OP! Just bought M18 version with battery combo. I'm going to return that and get this one.
